Due to the Thai government has formulated its policies to reduce cost of logistics in Thailand with 20% of GDP, all of which encourage export cargo to the world market. BMT Pacific Ltd. (BMTP) is formed to be the professional in the business and having long experience, we are delighted to commit ourselves to the prosperous Thai economic.

" BMT Pacific Ltd. (BMTP) " port represents one of Thailand’s greatest achievements in new infrastructure, has established itself as a reputable terminal company, provide a complete range of logistics solutions for clients’ logistics and storage requirements.

Located on the West banks of the Cho Phraya River, is only 14 kms. Away from the Rama IX Bridge, through Suksawad Rd. and is well served by new facility without having to contend with the Bangkok traffic congestion. Moreover, BMTP is the first and the only one to operate a barge shuttle service to link between Laem Chabang Port and BMTP Port. Hence, BMTP believe that the services can be make a benefit for the port users who located on the West bank of Chao Phraya River, and the areas of Bangkok such as Samut Sakorn, Nakorn Pratom and Samut Songkram.

BMT Pacific’s activities including Container terminal, Barge service, Special Warehousing and Distribution Center, Bonded Warehousing and Transportation. As well, BMTP provides the most powerful of equipment such as cranes, Reach stacker or Top loader and container handling equipments in the port.

The name " Bangkok Modern Terminal Ltd. (BMT) " is obviously a company name, to doing terminal business, with a view to developing the full potential of service. Hence, BMT has formed a joint-venture, under the name of " BMT Pacific Ltd. (BMTP) ".

1 January, 2006-BMT Pacific (BMTP), a joint venture between

- Bangkok Modern Terminal Ltd. (BMT)
   the major private terminal operator

- Eastern Maritime (Thailand) Ltd. (EML)
   the well reputable ship’s agency

- Pacific International Lines (Private) Pte. (PIL)
   the leading shipping firm agree to provide full service of terminal and share their expertise

The new company will leverage the combined strengths and experience of BMT with those of PIL and EML, ensure a diverse range of essential management skills, backed by modern technology and expertise to develop a full suite of service to meet customers needs. Moreover, the venture is being formed in response to growing demand from importing and exporting to better understand and serve the needs of this dynamic and fast-growing population.
